Dr. Mandy Newman is a licensed clinical psychologist, as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She also holds an adjunct faculty position at NYU. Dr. Newman received an MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Newman trained at Mount Sinai Beth Israel for her predoctoral internship, and received postdoctoral training at NYU’s Counseling and Wellness Services. Her doctoral research investigated dishonesty in psychotherapy.
Dr. Newman is licensed in the State of New York and her practice includes psychotherapy and psychological testing and assessment of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
